India have taken a 1-0 lead in the 2 match Test series against Bangladesh with a 280-run demolition job at Chennai. Bangladesh started really well with Hasan Mahmud getting 4 wickets early on, but a 200-run partnership between Ravichandran Ashwin and Ravindra Jadeja helped India reach a solid total of 376. Hasan Mahmud starred for Bangladesh, picking up his 2nd Test match 5-wicket haul. Bangladesh was bowled out for 149. Jasprit Bumrah picked up 4 wickets in the first innings for India. After that, Shubhman Gill and Rishabh Pant scored centuries to help India declare at 2874 in their 2nd innings and set Bangladesh a target of 515 to win the match. Bangladesh tried their best and captain, Najmul Hossain Shanto scored a valiant half-century, but the target proved to be too much in the end, as Ravichandran Ashwin picked up another 5fa as India bowled the Bangladeshis out for 234 to win the match by 280 runs inside 4 days.

Australia have taken a 2-0 lead in the 5-match OSI series against England with another solid victory against England, this time at Leeds by 68 runs. Mitchell Marsh, and Man of the Match, Alex Carey scored excellent half-centuries to get Australia to a total of 270 all out in 44.4 overs before the bowlers did the job to bowl England out for 202 in 40.2 overs.

South Africa get a consolation win in the final ODI against Afghanistan at Sharjah. Andile Phehlukwayo, Lungi Ngidi, and Nqabayomzi Peter picked up 2 wickets each to bowl Afghanistan out for 169. South Africa chased down the target with ease as Aiden Markram scored 69 not out off 67 balls to get the South Africans home with 7 wickets and 102 balls remaining. Rahmanullah Gurbaz top-scored with 89 off 94 balls and received the Man of the Match and Player of the Series Award.
